Originally from Houston, Isabella is a Mexican-American journalist and photographer based in Austin, pursuing a Bachelor of Journalism and minor in Latino Media Arts & Studies from the University of Texas.

 

Her work primarily focuses on feature and visual journalism, as well as editorial photography.

Professionally, she has interned as a staff writer for Texas Longhorns on SI — part of the On SI network of Sports Illustrated — where she covered football and women's basketball.

​

Previously, she has worked as a reporter for two different departments of The Daily Texan (Life & Arts, Sports). Now, she serves as a print photographer for the on-campus publication, Hook'd Magazine, and also sits as the Photo Director for University Fashion Group, handling all professional visuals for the organization.
